Nutritional Status & Autoimmune Challenges for Celiacs. This seminar will focus on nutritional status of celiacs and will include information on those nutrients which are the biggest challenge for us along with information on food sources as well as supplementation options. Because many celiacs also are faced with multiple autoimmune challenges we will talk a bit about Sjogren’s disease, Hashimoto’s, Raynaud’s, Scleroderma, Crohn’s and Diabetes (type 1 is autoimmune). You will learn about: lifestyle choices as well as dietary choices that can help you reduce inflammation and optimize your health.

Dr. Miller-Ihli served as USDA’s Acting National Program Leader for Nutrition and has 25+ years of nutrition research experience. She is the owner of Savvy Selections and her focus is community-based nutrition education. Please come and bring a friend.
